The Professor Inkworth Movement

Professor Inkworth is a figment of my imagination

He is the non-corporeal embodiment of the part of me that loves to create content, share ideas, and teach others. He is, in fact, my literal ghost-writer.

I created Professor Inkworth to represent to the world that my ideas are not about me, they are about the ideas themselves. I share them with the world in hopes of making the world a better place.

Why Professor Inkworth?

Professor Inkworth represents a bit of light humor and helps me share three of my greatest passions in life:

• Professor - represents my love for learning and teaching.  I am a life long learner. I find that the best way to master new knowledge is to teach others.
• Ink - represents my love for books, including reading and writing them.
• Worth - represents my love for supporting local businesses as they increase their worth.  

I personally believe that entrepreneurs will solve the problems of the world.  Governments, non-profits, and special interest groups may assist, but the heavy lifting will be done by entrepreneurs.  Entrepreneurs just have a special way of finding opportunities within challenges.

Personally, I have seen far too many local businesses fail because they didn't have access to information that would help them survive and thrive. The statistics show that about 4% of businesses make it to their tenth birthday. When a local business fails, it has lasting repercussions.  Jobs are lost, families break up, and dreams are shattered. And, in extreme cases, the would-be entrepreneur takes their own life out of despair. I refuse to accept the 4% survival rate, there is so much we can do to avoid these senseless tragedies and business failures.

I have given an important mission to Professor Inkworth. His mission is to save local businesses and the entrepreneurs that support them. The small local business that thrives may grow one day to become the global player that we need to tackle the world's challenges. No pressure, right?

The goal of the Professor Inkworth Fan Club is to share ideas that make your business and personal lives better.  We created this community to help support local businesses with their Client Getting activities.

How does Professor Inkworth Support Local Businesses?

The Professor Inkworth Fan Club supports local businesses by studying and analyzing the critical elements that bring success.  Knowing why a business fails is a great start, but knowing why a business succeeds is even more powerful.  Avoiding failure is a small stakes game in life.  We want to play for big stakes, so we pursue success.

Everything we do is part of our incubator lab process.  Our experts share their best strategies with our Fan Club.  We create experiments to test and measure the outputs.  Only the best ideas are shared with our audience.  We will share our wins and our challenges as we go through the scientific method to share business concepts that you can confidently implement on your own.

We start with a hypothesis (what we expect to happen), then we design experiments to test our hypothesis.  Once we have confirmed our hypothesis, we conduct further experiments to test and measure outcomes.  We then continue to test our processes until we are 100% confident that we have optimized every aspect of a particular process.  Then, and only then, do we document our processes and share them with our community.

We take chances so that you don't have to.  We reduce the risk of being an entrepreneur so that you can focus on what you do best in your business.

What is the Professor Inkworth Fan Club?

The Professor Inkworth Fan Club is a community of like-minded entrepreneurs and leaders who care deeply about their businesses, families, employees, and community at large.

The Professor Inkworth Fan Club is a think tank that explores new ideas and tests them for you. Once we can prove a new concept, we then find ways to standardize it and share it so that others can benefit. As a collective, we take risks and share the outcomes with you.  You can then decide if you want to implement new ideas after we have proven them in our lab and our community.

We share resources in  our community to teach others about business networking, digital magazines, writing (and publishing) AUTHORity books, hosting Influential Interviews, and facilitating Meaningful Masterminds.

We have a monthly newsletter that highlights our current "thought experiments" as well as practical applications of past experiments. Our researchers and testers share what works, what didn't work, and the logic behind each experiment. We share only the best ideas from our incubator lab so that you can confidently implement changes in your own businesses (and lives).
